The Electrician installs, repairs, troubleshoots and performs preventive maintenance on, including but not limited to, indoor lighting systems, electrical systems and apparatus, main power distribution systems and panel boards, outdoor facility lighting, construction projects, kitchen equipment and HVAC systems. Responds to emergency power failures and emergency back-up systems. Monitors and tests various electrical systems.

The Surveillance Technician is also responsible for the configuring/programming of surveillance IP based systems to include analog CCTV equipment, analog encoders, IP cameras, video recording servers, NVRs, wired and wireless alarm installations.

Perform installation, repair and maintenance of locks, door closures, panic hardware systems and electronic access and locking systems; reset combinations and adjust locks, including coding, key cutting and duplication. Assist with record input, maintenance as well as inventory control.
