The Executive Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the strategic planning, direction, and implementation of all marketing efforts for the property. This includes database management, advertising, media, promotions, players club, and player development. The role ensures that all marketing strategies align with the brand’s objectives and uphold Jackson Rancheria’s values and culture. This position will establish, execute, and monitor marketing procedures, budgets, goals, and objectives to drive revenue growth and enhance guest experience.
• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines.
• Responsible for overseeing the Marketing, Player’s Club and Player Development departments, which includes but not limited to establishing goals and objectives for the departments and implementing processes to monitor progress for the department. Establish and communicate clear expectations, foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture, and ensure continuous development opportunities for team members.
• Development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans aligned with both short and long term revenue and brand objectives.
• Develop and manage the Marketing operating budget to include both fiscal responsibility and optimization of ROI for all marketing initiatives.
• Plan and oversee development and production of advertising and promotion activities including print, television, direct mail, in-house and electronic media.
• Oversee, evaluate, and adjust market research efforts to ensure responsiveness to changing competitive conditions and market trends.
• Promotes player development efforts of the property that align with both revenue objectives and player engagement strategies.
• Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and present to Executive Casino and Tribal management. Review and analyze activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to meet stated revenue goals and objectives.
• Oversee public relations efforts with a focus on fostering positive media relations and building community awareness that reflects the Jackson Rancheria’s values and culture.
• Provides analysis and recommendations that introduce new opportunities for revenue generation and cost reduction.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to develop a high-performing marketing team. Encourage a culture of innovation, collaboration, and respect.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field preferred, with 7–10 years of progressive experience in marketing and promotions, particularly in the Gaming industry, of which at least 5 years must have been in a Manager/Director capacity. Experience in a Tribal Gaming environment is strongly preferred.
Compensation dependant on experience
This is not a smoke free workplace. Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.
