    ***This is a TEMPORARY position***


    The Florist is involved with all aspects of floral décor production for events, weddings, groups including hotel guests and Tribal requests.  All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental policies, practices and procedures.


    • Production of all event floral décor.
      • Make arrangements according to standard designs or under instruction of Floral Designer.
      • Follow instructions and assist Floral Designer.
      • Fabricate craft or art objects, apply creativity to design.
      • Clean work areas, including floors, floral cooler and shelving.
      • Participate in the receiving and processing of floral product.
      • Water, cut, condition and clean flowers, plants, and foliage for storage.
      • Clean water buckets and vases, fill water tubes etc.
      • Gather, count, and divide product according to floral recipes.
      • Prepare floral containers and props, and floral carts for refrigeration and delivery.
      • Sort, organize, clean and restock supplies.
      • Report any breakage/loss or variance in vase inventory.
    • Perform floral-related event set-up and tear down tasks including.
      • Pulling and restocking floral product and related decor, loading/unloading, and delivery/pick-up.
      • Confirm that all tools and products are returned and properly stored after installation/strike.
      • Adhere to property dock/loading and security procedures and policies.
      • Properly pack and handle inventory to protect against damage and deterioration.
    • Complete all required paperwork, monitor for accuracy and consistency.
    • Other duties may be assigned.


    • 1-2 years of floral experience and/ or 2-3 years of floral classes.
