Overview

Qualified individual will maintain JRCR buildings and surrounding facilities in an orderly condition by performing the following duties while providing customer service to JRCR internal and external guests.  Casino Facilities team members will complete all daily work assigned by following the direction of the supervision team and understanding and following the departmental policies and procedures. This will be achieved by arriving at the assigned work area prepared to begin the assigned shift on time and with all necessary tools and information. The Casino Facilities team member will acknowledge that communication is the responsibility of both the management team and themselves and therefore will communicate to management on a daily basis any needs or questions.

Responsibilities

  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, dusts, polish and vacuums gaming areas, restrooms, office space, hallways, stairs, food areas, event/ bingo hall, break areas, shops and LOLC
  • Empty and clean ashtrays.
  • Clean and maintain restrooms and restocks supplies as needed.
  • Cleans windows and mirrors.
  • Cleans debris from sidewalks and casino entrance areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles and recycle receptacles.
  • Delivers and changes 5 gal water bottles.
  • Performs Bio-hazard clean ups.
  • Remove gum from the carpet, tile, bottom of tables and chairs.
  • Performs regular carpet maintenance for spills and tears.
  • Clean and maintain elevators and escalators.
  • Must immediately report any safety concerns to supervisor.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

High school education: or up to one month related experience or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 
*Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
 

This is not a smoke free workplace.  Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.
